Large library of tracks by Kevin MacLeod under CC BY 4.0. Commercial use including games is expected if you credit. Paid no-attribution "Standard License" exists for ads and other credit-impossible formats. The site homepage is now mostly graph-paper tools; the music grant lives on the music FAQ.

Music FAQ names video games and says credits go on a Credits screen in settings
Required credit format is specified on the FAQ (title, name, site, CC BY 4.0 URL); copy that, do not invent one
YouTube monetization is explicitly allowed with credit
Content ID: an in-game credit satisfies the licence but not YouTube. Per the publisher's own YouTube Content ID page (read 2026-09-23), a claim usually follows when "the credit was placed in the video itself, and the credit could not be read automatically"; the fix is a credit in the video's description text, then a dispute, released "within 72 hours". For a game this lands on your players: anyone who streams or posts your game gets the claim unless they add the credit to their own description, and a credits screen shown on camera does not count. Choose a no-attribution source if you want let's-players to post freely
Homepage "Public Domain License: Creative Commons 0" applies to the graph-paper generators, not the music
