Microsoft Learn: Get-ExecutionPolicy

Tells you why a script might be blocked. -List shows every scope. MachinePolicy and UserPolicy come from Group Policy and win.

Read the execution policy guide before you change anything. Set-ExecutionPolicy is a separate, sharper tool.
