The Blender Foundation's Peach open movie, a ten-minute 3D animated short. The whole project, film and data, is under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0, so clips can be reused commercially with credit. Useful as ready-made cartoon cutscene footage or as a placeholder clip while you build a video player.
Credit is owed. For re-used parts of the film the site gives item 3 of its attribution list; for the whole film, include the entire credits roll
Excluded from the licence: the Blender and Creative Commons logos, and the DVD cover and disc print
Games are not named, but CC-BY grants reuse and distribution in any work, including a game; the credit must live somewhere a player can find it, such as a credits screen
Downloads are MP4 at several sizes from download.blender.org/demo/movies/BBB/; the page also mentions a 4K, high-frame-rate release
Character and prop models are a separate download from the same project and carry the same licence statement, apart from texture files flagged with their own licence
