Envato's free stock video, under the Mixkit Stock Video Free License. Commercial use, distribution and modification are allowed with no credit. Stays needs-review for one reason: the licence lists where clips may be used, and games are not on the list, while the Mixkit sound effects licence names video games outright.

The omission is the catch. The video licence's list is YouTube, social posts, ads, education, music videos, "Commercial projects" and filmmaking. The Sound Effects Free License has the same list plus "Video games" (see mixkit-sfx). The broad grant ("download, copy, modify, distribute, publicly perform and broadcast") probably covers a game, but Envato wrote games into one licence and not the other, and this catalog does not guess which it meant
Mixkit also has a Stock Video Restricted License for some clips. Check which licence a clip is under before you download it
The User Terms do not settle it. Read 2026-09-23: 18 or over only; no mass-downloading or scraping; no making items available "on a stock or inventory basis"; copies may be sold only after "applying human skill and effort, and incorporating other elements". Nothing about games, so the omission in the video licence stands.
Envato Acceptable Use Policy (read 2026-09-24), which the User Terms bind: no use of assets "to train, develop, or enhance artificial intelligence models"; no content that promotes "the supply of weapons or gambling" (a real-money gambling game is the case to check); and assets that "depict or reference sensitive topics" may be used only for "an educational, informational, journalistic, or advocacy purpose". Envato also reserves action against anything that "looks or feels like" a listed breach. None of it mentions games; the Fair Use Policy adds only a ban on bulk or automated downloading
